Purple for Justice
Green for Faith
Gold for Power
And these colours and symbols
Flash through the air
Climbing high and falling low
Into the screaming hands
Of a giant crowd below
Forever the power lines
Are strewn with beads
Even reminding us
Of what really there was to feed
The eyes were hungry
But now filled with delight
Because the big Hermes Parade is tonight!
